Chief Kola Akosile (B.sc, MBA, AMNM, ANMA), an investment banker, capital market/corporate finance expert, investor, serial entrepreneur and industrialist with over 40 years of cognate experience. He is presently a National Vice President of Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture (NACCIMA), where he is the Chairman for the MSME/SDG and Vice-Chairman of the Agribusiness Trade Groups respectively, having earlier served as President of Ekiti Chamber of Commerce (EKICCIMA) and the South-West Regional Chamber of Commerce – Odua Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines & Agriculture (ODUACCIMA). He also served as a National Council Member of Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) and Past Chairman of MAN – Southwest Branch comprising of Oyo, Ondo, Osun & Ekiti States.
Chief Kola Akosile has initiated, designed and implemented various innovative and complex financing models & structures for real estate, infrastructure, solid minerals, agribusiness, MSMEs, Youth & Gender related projects. He has participated as a member and Team Lead of various Trade Delegations to different parts of the global investment community, some of which are The World Bank Annual Meetings, US Exim Bank Annual Conferences, D-8 Summits, etc.
Chief Kola Akosile is the Chairman of TransAfrica Group which is an Africa-focused investment banking & financial advisory firm with operational base in Lagos – Nigeria, and associates/representatives in major cities of the world and strong relationships with Regional and Global Development Finance Institutions, Multilateral & Bilateral Financial Institutions such as International Finance Cooperation (IFC), D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation, African Import & Export Bank (AFRI-EXIM), African Development Bank (AfDB), Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), International Fund for Developing Countries (IFU) and a host of others.
He is presently the Chairman of the Technical & Advisory Committee (TAC) of Technology Incubation Center (TIC), Ado-Ekiti and has previously served as a Council member of the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) in Ekiti and Open Government Partnership (OGP). He is the Chairman, National Board of Advisors of AIESEC-in-Nigeria. AIESEC is the largest youth/student body in the world with 40,000 members in 120+ countries.
He is an Alumnus of the New York Institute of Finance and the World Bank Institute and has attended many professional Courses, Seminars, Conferences and Workshops, Locally and Internationally.
He is a recipient of the National Productivity Award in 2020.
